Lecture#7 previous reading

I forgot [again] to mention it at the end of the class: It's Kurose section 2.5 about the Domain Name System (DNS), a basic building block of almost all Internet services.

Well the thread about DNS is not too hard to understand but it's difficult the problem about canonical hosts, authoritative hosts vs non authoritative hosts and the possible problem that an DNS that stores in a cache the IP adresses can have a problem of not updated data. The rest can be relatively easy to understand.
